The Military/Business Career Fair is an annual Career Fair focused on our transitioning service members, veterans, and their family members. This event intends to match career seekers with local employers in order to retain military talent in our region.
The Virginia Peninsula Chamber, in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Workforce Development and Advancement, presented the 2024 Military / Business Career Fair on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. This year’s event focused on connecting employers, offering real jobs, with potential employees. Our focus on our military veterans has not changed, but this year the entire time was open to all serious job seekers in an effort to assist them in securing productive, satisfying and well-paying jobs, as we emerge from the response to the pandemic.
