Legislative Meet & Greet
The Legislative Meet & Greet presents an opportunity for business leaders to meet and find common ground with local, state, and federal politicians. The most common "Meet and Greet" event is with members of the Commonwealth General Assembly from the Virginia Peninsula.
Local Election Candidate Forum
The Local Election Candidate Forum is a forum to introduce candidates from Peninsula localities who are running for local seats, like City Council. The format for these events vary, but they all provide an opportunity to hear from the candidates on their platform and priorities.
Peninsula Insiders' Breakfast
The Peninsula Insiders' Breakfast is an event with a partnership between the Chamber and the Christopher Newport University Wason Center for Civic Leadership that offers a forum to discuss Public Policy issues that impact our region and commonwealth.
Public Policy Roundtables
One of the most important services that the Chamber provides for its members is advocacy on Public Policy issues. Our Public Policy Roundtables present an opportunity for members to share their obstacles and frustrations in dealing with government laws, regulations, and policies.
